Roger McFarland, Head of Regeneration & Strategic Partnerships, London Borough of Havering
Roger McFarland is Head of Regeneration and Strategic Partnerships at the London Borough of Havering. He has over 25 years' experience of regeneration, planning, economic development and environmental management in the borough. He has been involved with the Thames Gateway since its inception and is responsible for the delivery of Havering's extensive regeneration programmes, including those for London Riverside, Romford town centre, other area-based initiatives, economic development, and work with the voluntary and community sector borough-wide. In addition Roger leads the Council's work on development and transport planning, town centre management, and the adult education service.
