Sustainable Community Strategy
Havering 2013 is the Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS) for the Borough. It is an ambitious plan that sets out the vision and goals for the Borough over the next 5 years.
It guides all partner organisations towards the goals and Local Area Agreement targets that they need to achieve in order to provide our residents with the highest quality of life in London.
The SCS has been designed as a 'living' document that can easily be updated to reflect changes impacting upon Havering such as demographic changes or the economic downturn.
The London Borough of Havering endorsed the Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS) at its Council Meeting in March 2009, with the Havering Strategic Partnership endorsing it in April 2009.
The latest copy of the SCS comes with a renewed drive for ensuring the sustainability of our communities. A soft copy can be downloaded, or you could contact Jodie Calder for a hard copy.
