Voluntary Community and Faith Sector
The VCFS theme group will lead on a number of key issues for the Havering Strategic Partnership, including, but not limited to:
- Community development (supporting the set-up of new community organisations, interest groups, social enterprises, neighbourhood action groups)
- Promoting equality and diversity in Havering
- Strengthen the third sector within Havering
- Promote volunteering and voluntary action (‘The Big Society’) within Havering and to promote and celebrate Big Society activity
