Havering Community Safety Partnership
There is no escaping the fact that crime, disorder and levels of drug use are very low in Havering and the chances of becoming a victim of crime are also small. However we understand the distress caused by crime and are committed to reducing it still further.
50% of residents asked in the 2009 Place Survey felt safe when outside in their local area after dark, and when asked if the local public services are working to make the area safer, 63% agreed. We need to ensure that more people feel safe when outside in their area after dark and this is the job of the HCSP.
