What Local Strategic Partnerships do

Local Strategic Partnerships (LSPs) are a single non-statutory, multi-agency bodies, which match local authority boundaries and aim to bring together, at a local level, the different parts of the public, private, community and voluntary sectors.

LSPs are essential to tackling deep seated, multi-faceted problems, requiring a range of responses from different organisations. Local partners working through a LSP will be expected to take many of the major decisions about priorities for their local area.

Havering Strategic Partnership

The Havering Strategic Partnership (HSP) works to promote the improvement and development of the London Borough of Havering, and its vision and aims reflect this.

The HSP is led by the HSP Board, which is made up of representatives from key Havering organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors. The HSP Board is supported by a wider management structure.

The HSP has many members, who make up the HSP Forum. The purpose of the HSP Forum is to make the HSP as inclusive as possible.
