Government Office for London (GOL)
This website allows you to view data and analytical tools that GOL produce to support their work in delivering Government policies and programmes in London. These tools relate to the measuring and monitoring of performance and improvement at local authority level in London. To make it easily accessible, the links to the tools and data are provided directly, below (NB: you will need Adobe Acrobat version 8 to use this site):
Borough Indicator Profile
To view the profile, click here. This gives data on many of the National Indicators (of performance) for each of the 33 London Boroughs. You can break the data down to view individual indicators scores in particular boroughs by selecting a borough from the list on the left of the screen.
Borough Indicator Profile (maps)
To view the profile, click here. You can view the same data geographically through the use of an interactive map, with accompanying charts and graphs. Use the 'Data' tab to the top left of the screen to select an indicator and select a borough from the list on the left of the screen.
Ward Life Expectancy
To view the profile, click here. This gives data on life expectancy for each of the 33 London Boroughs, at ward level. You can view the data via an interactive map, with accompanying charts and graphs. Select a table using the 'Data' tab to the top left of the screen and then select a ward from the list to the left hand side of the screen.
Super Output Area Data Explorer
To view the profile, click here. This tool gives data on benefits, deprivation and environment for each of the 33 London Boroughs, although you can only view one borough at a time. To view a borough, select it from the drop down menu to the top right of the screen and click 'go'. To then select data, click the data tap to the top left of the screen, and then select the data you wish to view.
