The Havering Strategic partnership (HSP) is a group of representatives from key Havering organisation in the public, voluntary and private sector who will together turn our vision into reality. The HSP is committed to the improvement and development of our borough and to ensure that through greater partnership working, we all combine to improve the quality of life for all residents in Havering.
The HSP was set up in January 2002 and has delivered many shared priorities. We recognise that effective partnership working is critical to delivering improvements for the community and we are committed to enhancing the strength of our partnership and maximise the outcomes for our communities.
The HSP have many duties and projects to complete, before the vision will become a reality. Some of these include:
- Local Area Agreements (LAA)A local area agreement (LAA) is a three-year agreement between a local area and central government, based on local needs. The LAA sets out how local priorities will be met by applying local solutions. It also contributes to national priorities set out by the government.
- HSP Annual Conference The HSP Annual conference is where all of the HSP come together to discuss what has happened the previous year and what is up and coming in the year to come.
- Place Survey The Place Survey is a national survey that asks residents questions about local services - police, council and health. You can view all results by using the link above.
